Gushers Strain

The History Of Gushers

Gushers (sometimes known also as White Gushers or Fruit Gushers) is a hybrid strain of cannabis first created in the 2010s, making it a very new strain of cannabis.

It was created by the Cookies family, a company of growers in California who are responsible for a lot of other strains like Thin Mint and Cherry Pie.

This company is often referred to as the ‘McDonalds’ of cannabis as they are dedicated to creating more and more high quality strains for everyone to enjoy.

One such strain is Gushers, the hybrid strain born from crossing Gelato #41 and Triangle Kush.

Gelato #41 is a well-loved strain due to its tropical and floral aroma and flavors, plus it is known to provide a very relaxing high.

Triangle Kush is another strain known for its relaxing effects, plus its ability to make its users chatty and creative.

So, it only makes sense that these two strains come together to create a whole new strain that boasts both of their best features.

And so, Gushers was born!

Gushers is now a strain of cannabis that is grown worldwide and consumed for a range of different reasons, making it one of the most versatile strains of cannabis that is enjoyed by the masses.

The Properties Of Gusher

Gushers is a high THC, low CBG strain of cannabis, making it very balanced and versatile when it comes to its effects.

Its THC range is quite high when compared to some other strains of cannabis as it currently measures at 24% – making it a great strain for frequent cannabis users.

It’s low CBG measures at 1% so this makes it capable of proving an uplifting high without causing drowsiness.

It is also very balanced when it comes to its indica and sativa ratio as Gushers is 60% indica and 40% sativa, making it a close even split between the two.

This also means that Gushers features some effects and benefits commonly found in both groups, although it does lean slightly more towards an indica classification.

Gushers Effects And Benefits

This strain is renowned  for being incredibly balanced and proving a range of different effects that prove to be beneficial to a lot of individuals.

Those who suffer from stress and anxiety often recommend Gushers due to its relaxing and euphoric high.

This might sound contradictory, but Gushers is capable of soothing worries and relieving stress while replacing all that with strong feelings of happiness.

It’s also very relaxing and helps to ease pain and aches. Those who have taken Gushers say that they found their muscles to ease and a tingling sensation replaced the pain, allowing them to have some relief for their suffering.

So, there are many medical benefits to be found through using Gushers as it can help alleviate pain and anxiety, but many people also use Gushers for the sake of pleasure.

It’s a great recreational high that can energize although the come-down can be very sedating.

However, Gushers is not perfect. Some negative effects reported include headaches and dizziness, but also an increase in anxiety.

So, to avoid this, try a small dose of Gushers for your first try and slowly build up the dosage if you are not impressed with the effects. This can help prevent you from taking too much and experiencing these negative effects.

Gushers Flavor And Aroma

Apart from its range of benefits and advantages, Gushers is a highly recommended strain of cannabis due to its strong flavor.

Allegedly, the reason why it was called ‘Gushers’ is due to its intense, thick fruity flavor. Many who use Gushers claim that it has an incredibly strong tropical aroma and flavor that is instantly noticeable.

This tropical flavor is said to be sweet and berry-like, most likely inherited from its parent Gelato #41.

It’s very strong and flavorful, making it ideal for recreational use so you can enjoy plenty of strong notes of apple, grape and sugar.

Gushers has a very similar aroma and flavor, although some claim that the aroma is slightly more herbal and earthy than the flavor.

This could be inherited from its parent Triangle Kush, which is said to have a more earthy aroma than Gelato #41.

So, when it comes to flavor and aroma, Gushers has inherited some of its parents’ best features to become a huge explosion of fruity flavor in your mouth!

Growing Gushers

Gushers can grow both indoors and outdoors, but has a relatively poor yield no matter which method you use.

When grown outdoors, Gushers grows well in warm and sunny climates. It usually flowers in late October and only yields around 6 to 8 ounces per plant.

When grown indoors, the yield is even less – with only 3 to 5 ounces yielded per square meter.

This isn’t a lot and is especially disappointing when the flowering period takes 10 to 11 weeks indoors which is a little more than  the average.

Because of this, a lot of growers don’t grow Gushers because it takes a longer time than usual and does not provide a lot of harvest.

However, Gushers is still very popular due to its intense flavor and variety of medical benefits, making it still a very valuable strain to try and grow.

Conclusion

Gushers is one of the most flavorful strains of cannabis out there and it is dearly loved due to its many benefits and balanced properties.

It energizes and relaxes, uplifts and eases pain, making it very popular with those who suffer from ailments like anxiety.

However, it’s not the best strain to grow due to its low yield, but despite this many still seek out Gushers, meaning that there is a high demand for this particular strain of cannabis!
